Updated Fundamentals of Software Architecture Images
When Mark and Neal created the diagrams for the Fundamentals of Software Architecture book, they used technical drawings built up over time during technical presentations and client work. In fact, one of the distinguishing features of the book is the highly detailed technical drawings.
Unfortunately, not all media are created equal, and drawings that work well in eBook, video, and live presentations sometimes prove difficult to read in print–the level of detail is too high for the amount of available space.
Fortunately, with modern technology and a sympathetic publisher, book publishing can be iterative too! Mark and Neal revisited each of the diagrams and re-drew them to make them more legible across all media. Updated versions of the print and electronic books feature the improved images.
However, if you have one of the previous versions (or you just want an electronic version of the figures), the authors posted all the images here, numbered based on the book’s chapter/figure number.
